Training Courses

This course meets or exceeds the requirements of Ohio and Michigan, ORC 2923.125, divisions (G)(1) & (G)(2) and section 5(j) of 1927 PA 372. The goal of this course is to develop the basic knowledge, skills and attitude for the use of a firearm for protection, and to provide information on the law-abiding citizen's right to self-defense. Course participants must be law abiding, at least 21 years of age and have basic pistol skills to maximize what can be learned from this course. 

Each participant will need a handgun, 50 rounds of ammunition in the same caliber, eye protection & hearing protection, comfortable clothing and footwear (no flip-flops or sandals). All deposits are non-refundable. If a class participation cancellation notification is received 48 hours prior to course date, a one-time class rescheduling within 12 months from original course date is allowed. If a course has not been attended within the 12 month period, all course fees are forfeited by the participant. Failure to attend the entire course or cancellations less than 48 hours notification will result in no refunds or rescheduling.
