"If each one of our students in Ohio and Michigan can walk away with any one of these goals or accomplishments, then my role as an educator/mentor is fulfilled." Always be the best you can be no matter what you choose to do or become in life. Be prepared for the unexpected. Develop good force of habit skills by practicing repetitive drills so that it becomes second nature. Get more involved in the shooting sports and the numerous outdoor recreational activities this great nation has to offer.
"My main purpose as a firearms academy instructor is to educate the public in the safe handling and discharging of various firearms and then, let those individuals choose for themselves which one(s) work best for them and their circumstances." "My second purpose is to encourage them to look within their own self and at the peer groups they choose to surround their individual lives with. Ask yourself before you speak out loud whether it be verbal or written: "Is what I am about to say going to hurt or help the cause?". If you can't answer that question with 100% surety either way, then it is best to keep quiet until you can."
This husband and wife duo grew up in families who's involvement in recreational shooting sports, love for the outdoors and passion for our industry is evident. Each of them have attended various NRA Instructor trainings for specific disciplines, the NRA Range Development Seminar, NRA Range Safety Officer, NRA Refuse to be a Victim, Michigan Defensive Firearms Institute courses as well as MI & OH DNR Hunter Education/IBEP Instructor academies. Recognizing that they can never know enough, Rob and Jennifer are always adding to their list of credentials. Now they are bringing their years of experience and training to Ohio and Michigan for you!
